Description of RoleWe’re looking for a mechanical engineer proficient in SolidWorks to support our team on a short-term, part-time contract. You’ll produce production-ready drawings and assemblies, applying sound GD&T practices.
Part-time contract, approximately 25 hours totalDuration: 2–3 monthsLocation RemoteOpen to candidates anywhere in the US who work through their own LLC or business entityCandidates not working through an LLC must be based in MassachusettsResponsibilitiesCreate detailed 2D drawings from 3D SolidWorks modelsBuild and manage basic assembliesApply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 to ensure manufacturability and clear design intentCollaborate with the team to review and revise designs as needed
