We work with a strong product mindset, short feedback loops, and a pragmatic engineering culture: quality, ownership, and code we're still proud of a year from now.The roleYou'll join our engineering team as a Senior Go Backend Developer and take real ownership of critical backend systems and services — not ticket-pushing, actual ownership.You'll design, build, and evolve the backend services that power our products, weigh in on architectural decisions, improve system reliability, and help shape how backend engineering is done across the company.This is a hands-on senior role: you'll write production Go every day and be deeply involved in technical decisions that have real impact.Job requirementsQuick reminder before the details5+ years of production Go experience — required Based in a European timezone (UTC−1 to UTC+3) What you'll doDesign, build, and maintain backend services written in GoBuild and evolve APIs (GraphQL and/or REST) behind complex product workflowsDesign scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend architecturesWork closely with frontend engineers, product managers, data engineers, and designersContribute to data modeling, business logic, and performance optimizationReview code and take part in architectural and technical discussionsRaise the bar on code quality, testing, observability, and system resilienceActively tackle refactoring, technical debt, and long-term improvementsOwn backend features end to end, from design to productionTake part in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)Our stackGo sits at the center of everything.
