Job Description

Technical Skills

10+ years of hands-on professional backend software development experience

Strong experience designing and maintaining real-time distributed systems with low-latency request/response handling

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Strong programming skills in Java are required; however, we are open to considering your C/C++, Scala, Ruby, Rust, or Go experience if you are interested in transitioning to Java

Experience maintaining and refactoring legacy Python codebases

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs

Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL databases

Soft Skills

Ability to navigate and manage system complexity

Strong sense of ownership and accountability

Commitment to continuous learning and pushing the boundaries of your technical expertise

Outstanding problem-solving and analytical capabilities

Collaborative team player with mentoring experience

Nice to Have

Experience with Spring Framework and microservices architecture

Background with data analytics and processing tools such as Apache Spark, Hive, Databricks, or similar platforms

Qualifications
